Food & Beverage Manager - Full Time Salary
We are seeking an energetic, organized food and beverage professional to lead all dining and beverage operations at Bayview Golf & Country Club. This hands-on leadership role requires strong business acumen, advanced beverage knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional member and guest experiences. The Food & Beverage Manager will oversee daily operations, lead the Club’s food & beverage program, drive revenue and cost management initiatives, and ensure every Member experience exceeds expectations. The Food and Beverage manager will report to the Clubhouse Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily operations across all food & beverage outlets and act as Manager on Duty during peak shifts.
Lead and manage the Club’s full beverage program (wine, beer, spirits, cocktails, non-alcoholic offerings), including supplier relations, inventory, pricing, and seasonal program development.
Develop and manage schedules to optimize efficiency and service quality.
Support FOH recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, training, and real-time coaching.
Deliver pre-service briefings and ensure consistent service excellence.
Build strong Member relationships and promptly address service concerns.
Maintain up-to-date POS (Jonas) and reservation systems
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and hospitality leadership.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Foster a positive, team-oriented environment, leading by example.
Promote and maintain Bayview Golf & Country Club’s Service Standards
Oversee monthly inventories for all outlets, ensuring accuracy, cost controls, and reporting.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create cohesive food and beverage pairings, contribute to menu innovation, and support member events with tailored offerings.
Collaborate with the Events & Catering team to deliver seamless special events and tournament experiences, including customized beverage programming.
Develop beverage training programs for FOH staff, enhancing product knowledge, service skills, and upselling.
Manage departmental financial performance including labour costs, beverage COGS, and operating supplies, support forecasting and budget planning.
Monitor and analyze member feedback (including NPS surveys, comment cards, and direct input) to identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans that enhance the overall dining experience.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years in a service driven hospitality setting, private club environment an asset.
University or College diploma in Hospitality is a definite asset.
Provides a hands-on approach to training and leadership style, committed to developing and motivating the team to superior level of Member service.
Proven experience leading a team
Organized, results-oriented, proven time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
Strong rack record of employee engagement and retention.
Demonstrate strong leadership, team, communication, and coaching skills.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment maintaining composure and objectivity with members and team.
Smart Serve certification required; mixology, bartending, or hospitality training is an asset.
Experience managing staff, schedules, and service standards in a dynamic, multi-outlet environment.
Strong leadership and team development skills, with experience in training and mentoring staff.
Proven ability to manage labour costs and support departmental budget goals.
A warm, professional demeanor and a passion for hospitality excellence.
Available to work nights, weekends and or holidays as required.
Golf Services
Golf Outside Operations Team - Seasonal Part-Time
Golf Outside Operations Team Members are our front line of customer service. As a point of contact Attendants greet our Members and Guests at the bag drop, ensure daily golf cart maintenance and service the driving range to help prepare for tournaments. This position is an integral part of the service we strive to deliver at the Bayview Golf & Country Club.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for interactions with our Members and Guests
Loading and unloading clubs from vehicles
Club cleaning and storage
Cart cleaning and Storage
Daily golf cart maintenance
Servicing the driving range, short game area and putting green
Upkeep of bag storage area
Upkeep of the power cart storage area
Assisting in tournament preparation
Qualifications:
Golf Background an asset but not required

Food & Beverage
Dining Room Server - Part time
Responsibilities:
Display knowledge of the Club's food menu, wine & spirits menu.
Promote menus and Club functions to the members.
Check with members and their guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
Prepare hot, cold, and mixed drinks for members and their guests.
Perform food preparation duties such as preparing salads, appetizers, and cold dishes, portioning desserts, and brewing coffee.
Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning.
Perform standardized opening and closing procedures during each shift.
Assist other service area in time of need.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and acceptable levels of club appearance at all times.
Maintain proper Club policies/procedures and dress code at all times.
Attend and participate in all training sessions and staff meetings throughout the season.
Carry out all other duties as delegated by the Food & Beverage
Management.
Working Conditions:
Work schedule varies and will include working evenings, holidays and weekends.
Spend a lot of time on their feet.
Frequently assigned to changing priorities.
Qualifications:
Must have completed Smart Serve alcohol service training.
Previous serving experience an asset.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must work well individually and as part of a team.

Food & Beverage
Dining Room Supervisor - Full-Time Position/Part-Time Position (Varying work schedule to include mornings, evenings, holidays, weekends, and extended hours as business required.
Position Description
The Dining Room Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Member dining outlets. This position involves overseeing the dining room staff, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and ensuring that all aspects of the dining experience meet or exceed established standards. The Dining Room Supervisor reports to the F&B Outlets Manager and the Clubhouse Manager.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage employees to ensure Members and Guests are always served promptly in a courteous manner
Train and coach all F&B Front of House employees and ensure high standards of service
Check Member chits to ensure they are filled out correctly and entered into JONAS system
Schedule staff, monitor staff breaks, and call in or send staff home depending on the level of business
Serve Members when needed
Serve as a role model for staff by handling and dealing with all issues in a professional manner in day-to-day work
Provide feedback to the F&B Outlets Manager
Attend weekly Food and Beverage Operations meetings as required by Manager
Perform all other tasks as assigned by the Clubhouse Manager
Supervision Received:
Reports to and receives functional direction from the Clubhouse Manager & F&B Outlets Manager
Contacts:
Maintains internal/external contact with all Members, Management and Staff
Preferred Qualifications
1 - 2 years' supervisory experience in a hospitality preferred but not required
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the hospitality sector
Valid Smart Serve certification
Experience in the Club industry as asset but not required
Experience with JONAS Software an asset but not required
Good communication skills in English
Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
Possesses extensive knowledge of spirits and wine
WSET certification considered an asset
Holds a valid Smart Serve certification
Able to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods
Experience in a hospitality setting is an asset but not required
Strong communication skills
Self-starter with attention to detail
